Glastonbury's Finest award ceremony coming up

The Exchange Club of Glastonbury will hold its annual Glastonbury’s Finest event at the Glastonbury Hilton Garden Inn on April 23, 2025, at 6:00 pm. All are welcome for dinner and a cash bar.  Tickets are available online.

Being honored this year is Sergeant Simon Barratt. Sergeant Barratt has been a dedicated member of the Glastonbury Police Department since March 2005. Currently serving as the Training Supervisor within the Services Division, Sergeant Barratt serves as the primary contact for all new officers within the department. Recognized as the department’s “go-to” expert on emerging technologies. Sergeant Barratt has played a pivotal role in advancing the department’s operational efficiency and preparedness.

Sergeant Simon Barratt’s unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and public service has left a lasting impact on the Glastonbury Police Department and the community it serves. His dedication to advancing officer training and modernizing department operations makes him a most deserving recipient of the 2024 Glastonbury Exchange Club Police Officer of the Year award.
